Today Hillary Clinton symbolically "bet on" the only female horse in the Kentucky Derby, named "Eight Belles", to win the race. Hillary was trying to draw parallels between herself and the underdog philly.
Eight Belles lost to the crowd favorite, and ran so hard she broke both front ankles and collapsed after crossing the finish line.
She was euthanized on the track in front of 150,000 horrified onlookers. The first place horse was “Big Brown.”
